I've been shipping web and Discord projects since 2012 — bots, communities, hosting, CRM systems, and open-source plugins. I like systems that work while you're busy doing something else (like clutching a round).
The name
Why Madpugs?
It's half pug, half gamer tag — and all personality.
- Mad — for the chaos of late-night ranked, modded servers, and "one more match" energy.
- Pugs — the pug life. Stubborn, loyal, loud when it matters. Also my Discord handle since forever.
- Focus — the plugin I shipped so Discord stops pinging you mid-firefight. Name's on the tin.
Madpugs isn't a brand pose — it's the username my communities know, the pug on the banner, and the dev who games on the same PC he codes on.
Norbit.Online
My connection to Norbit
Norbit.Online is my studio — websites, hosting, email, Discord servers, and custom bots for UK businesses and charities. I founded it, run the stack, and build the tools (including the CRM and Discord bot behind the operation).
Madpugs Focus started as a personal fix: stop toggling DND every time I launched a game. I open-sourced it under Norbit-Online so other gamers get the same peace. This profile site lives at madpugs.uk on Norbit hosting — same infrastructure I provision for clients.
